Hotel Reservation and Payment Question?
Thursday, January 7th, 2010I am getting married in November and we are going out for a couple of days. We have reserved a hotel and they required a credit card to reserve the room. Does that mean that i have to use that specific card when we arrive and are ready to pay? Or can we use cash instead? Everyone who has reserved a room at hotels in advanced….. how do you useually pay??? Thanks!!

Question about hotel comment sites?
Saturday, December 19th, 2009I’ve traveled a lot and frequently use the discount sites like Hotwire and priceline etc. I’ve always had very good luck. As I’m looking at reservations sites for hotels now – I find myself looking at the comments other guests have left – sometimes it’s hard to sort out someone who didn’t get their way from real issues like cleanliness, and working amenities.
How much do those comments play into when you make a reservation?
Any experience with expedia or other online sales? Got ripped off with expedia for hotel bookings?

Is the Wynn hotel on the strip, off the strip or in downtown?
Thursday, September 3rd, 2009I am making flight reservations and don’t know if I should pay extra for bus transportation from airport to Wynn. It makes me select which ticket, either to ON THE STRIP HOTELS or DOWNTOWN HOTELS. not sure which one Wynn is. Is it worth the 10 bucks for the transportation or should we take a taxi?
Hotel Info?
Thursday, May 21st, 2009I want to stay at a certain hotel, but I want more information. Is it possible to access information that is as good as a hotel reservation agent or travel agent’s information (I mean–when you are on the phone with a hotel reservation agent or a travel agent, they give info that most people can’t find easily online)? I would like the inside scoop—not just a bunch of mixed reviews. Any Ideas?
By the way, the hotel is the El Conquistador Resort in Fajardo/Las Crobas, Puerto Rico.
Also, to be more specific–
Are there any interactive websites (with flash maybe) where I can find the layout of a hotel, the room category info, etc. It doesn’t have to be for the hotel I named above, just in general.
I only know one site for Club Med—Basically, I am looking for a site like this for multiple hotels:
easyclubmed.com/village
(It’s in French—to get it in English, click on “langues” in the top menu bar–you will see “anglais”–click that for English)
This is the former Club Med reservation line info database.
I need one national brand hotel and one independent hotel?
Tuesday, March 17th, 2009I need to compare rates, photos used for their web site, amenities, golf or spa packages offered, and room availability.
Which of the two hotels do you think connects to the customer the best? Why?
How has technology made the hotel’s information easy to find?
How do yo think technology has made the hotel’s reservation process smoother?
How could either of the hotels use technology to improve their customer service?
Did either of the hotels use technology in a unique way?
How can the hotels use technology to improve advertising?
Has technology been used to advertise one hotel over another? If yes, explain.
Which hotel do you think uses technology the most to gain competitive advantage?
Which is the best web for reservation of flights and hotels?

Booking a hotel, must be 21 to check in?
Saturday, December 1st, 2007I have been planning a beach trip with my friend for a while now and I have a few hotels narrowed down. On all of the web sites they list “You must be at least 21 to check in to this hotel.”
Does this mean that both of us have to be 21?
Or that 1 of us needs to be 21?
Im 19 and she is 24.
I just dont want to book reservations and then not be able to check in!
