I’m getting him plane tickets + hotel reservations for 4 days in New York during Valentine’s Day weekend, a new Blendtec Total Blender (he blends protein shakes every day and his blender is really bad), a long-sleeved dress shirt, a pair of pajamas, and Season 7 of his favorite tv show, The Shield, a homemade Christmas music cd, and a card. We have been together for 2 years and are moving in together in June. Do you think these are good ideas?

On the hotel website is says “AARP/Senior (AARP members & guests 55 and older save 10% or more. AARP ID or proof of age may be required at check-in)” My mother doesn’t have a AARP card but she’s over 55 does she get the discount?
