momstheword78 asked:
I booked a stay at a Super 8 Motel months ago then lost the confirmation number I had written down. I ended up missing the reservation completely and they charged me $90 for it. Every hotel I have ever stayed at does an email confirmation of some sort but, at the time, Super 8 did not tell me that they would not be sending me any kind of confirmation. I called the hotel but they were not only not helpful, but rude. Do I have any case against them or do I have to eat the $90?
In losing the confirmation number, I had no proof of the reservation, nor did I know what date I had booked it for. I was completely lost!

I’m planning a bachelor party and my buddy getting married really wanted to go to a trendy club in Vegas. So, I booked a VIP table w/ bottle service w/ 2 bottles at $400 each. I plan on paying 20% gratuity to the waitress. However, am I also supposed to tip the club’s “VIP host” who simply took my reservation over the phone and will walk us to our table? If so, how much should I tip this guy? It seems a bit absurd, it’s not like people tip the phone operators who help make their hotel room reservations. Why does this guy deserve a tip?

I am making flight reservations and don’t know if I should pay extra for bus transportation from airport to Wynn. It makes me select which ticket, either to ON THE STRIP HOTELS or DOWNTOWN HOTELS. not sure which one Wynn is. Is it worth the 10 bucks for the transportation or should we take a taxi?

My parents will be visitng me in January and they will be staying with me but I have a small apartment so I want to have a reservation ready just in case the “togetherness” get to be a little much. Does anyone know of a decent hotel in the Summerlin area? (already looked into Red Rock, Rampart, Sun Coast) It doesn’t have to be a casino, just a halfway decent hotel. I’ve only been here 3 years and don’t go exploring much so I have no idea whats out there. Thanks!

— asked: I’ve heard that a lot of construction is going on there because they are making it into Planet Hollywood. I made reservations before I found out about the remodeling. Has anyone stayed there recently or seen it? I’d like to know how the conditions are because if it is too noisy or messy, I might cancel and switch hotels. Thanks!
Also, how is the spice market buffet? Someone told me that the food now isn’t as good as it had been before the remodeling. Any experiences you’d like to share?
