When traveling for business, how do you corporate rates?

My question is kind of a funny one. I travel quite often for a very small business, and I often times see on hotel websited corporate or business hotel reservations. If I were to book one of these hotel reservations that are under corporate or business headings, do I have to have something to prove that I am traveling for business? I usually travel and reserve under just the regular old reservation, but sometimes the corp. or business level is cheaper, and I am traveling for business. Just wondering if someone can help me out.
